A 24-year-old man presents with redness and swelling of the right eyelid. On examination, you note a crusty appearance at the base of the lashes, with a diffusely swollen eyelid. Eye movements are normal and not restricted. Visual acuity is unaffected and there are no corneal defects. He is systemically well otherwise with no fevers. You note that he has scaly patches of dry skin on his scalp, which he mentions he has had for as long as he can remember. What is the most appropriate treatment?
