A 29-year-old lady presents with a red, painful left eye. She has a past medical history of hyperemesis during pregnancy with her child and a corneal ulcer caused by an infection last year, for which she was treated with topical drops. She had a recent cold sore but this resolved a few days ago. She has been well in herself otherwise and has no fevers or rashes. On examination, you note the iris appears to have patches on it, and she is sensitive to light. What is the most appropriate management?
