A 31-year-old Portuguese lady has presented to the acute medical unit with seizures

A 31-year-old Portuguese lady has presented to the acute medical unit with seizures. She also had a history of complete loss of vision in the right eye with decreased acuity in the left eye for 2 years. She has recently seen her GP about her worsening gait, which he has described as ataxic and referred her to neurology outpatients.  On examination, she also has a left sided facial droop. She does not believe in Western medicine and is usually non-compliant with all medications. CT head showed low attenuation of the white matter with cortical sparing and MRI showed significant demyelination.

Given the likely diagnosis, what is the causative organism for this presentation?
