A 34-year-old woman presents with her housemate due to increasingly abnormal behaviour.

A 34-year-old woman presents with her housemate due to increasingly abnormal behaviour. She is agitated and says that she can hear her neighbours talking about her, including while she was in your waiting room today. Her housemate states that she has not been sleeping and has become increasingly paranoid about people trying to harm her. Her only past medical history is temporal lobe epilepsy, although her housemate says she has been having more frequent seizures recently. Her last seizure was two days ago and this was witnessed by her housemate who confirms that she seemed “normal” the evening following the seizure. What is the most likely diagnosis?
