A 60-year-old female is presented to hospital. Her family are concerned

A 60-year-old female is presented to hospital. Her family are concerned that she is having difficulty carrying out everyday tasks such as washing and dressing herself. There is no obvious reason for this. It has also been noted that she is struggling to recognise objects. She used to be an avid reader but has also stopped over the last year. MRI imaging of her head shows bilateral but asymmetrical atrophy of the temporal and occipital regions. Given the most likely diagnosis, what would be the most appropriate initial management strategy to trial?
