A 65-year-old lady presents to the outpatient clinic with worsening shortness of breath and cough over the last 6 months. She describes 4 episodes of pneumonia in the past 2 years and a history of childhood pneumonia. She has been coughing up sputum daily, which is usually white, but goes green when she is unwell and occasionally appears blood stained. On examination, she has bilateral crackles and finger clubbing. She is a lifelong non-smoker. What would be the most appropriate investigation to obtain a diagnosis for this lady?
