A 72-year-old lady is brought to the Emergency department

A 72-year-old lady is brought to the Emergency department after a fall at home. On examination, there is tenderness over the right hip area and she is unable to bear weight due to pain. Urgent right hip X ray shows neck of femur fracture. An orthopaedic surgeon has reviewed the patient and suggested an operation.
