A 72-year-old woman was referred in by her GP because she found she was having difficulty writing her shopping list. She is a current smoker with a history of hypertension and is overweight and previously worked as an accountant. On examination, she is able to read but is unable to copy a written number or write a list. She also has difficulty making simple additions despite understanding the numbers. She is able to close her fist or open her mouth when instructed but is unable to follow the command “put your left hand on your right ear”. You suspect she has had a stroke. In which territory is the lesion likely to be?
