A 83-year-old woman is brought into clinic by her daughter due to concerns with her memory. She has recently required a package of care, telecare and keysafe to be installed due to concerns with personal care and wandering out of the house. Her predominant problems appear to be short-term memory loss and she has on occasion been found to be incontinent.
She has a background of a right middle cerebral artery infarction 20 years ago which has left her with some mild residual left-sided arm weakness. Her MoCA is 20/30 and apart from her residual arm weakness, her examination and gait are unremarkable.
