You see a 72-year-old man in stroke follow up clinic. He had a stroke 3 months ago

You see a 72-year-old man in stroke follow up clinic. He had a stroke 3 months ago and he feels that he has greatly improved since his stroke. On examination, you notice some residual disturbance in his speech. When he speaks, his speech pattern is fluent and you are able to understand him but frequently he uses made-up words with similar sounds to the intended words. He is able to follow simple commands such as, “close your eyes” and can manage more complex commands with no difficulty. When you ask him to repeat words or phrases, he is unable to do so. What type of aphasia does this gentleman suffer from?
