Ameera is a 14-year-old girl brought in by her grandmother. Her grandmother is concerned that Ameera is always daydreaming and not paying close enough attention in school so now is falling behind. Ameera admits she struggles to focus for long periods in schools, especially food tech which she hates – last week she only made half a cake because she had lost the eggs somewhere! She seems distracted when telling this story, gazing out the window at the man litter picking in the street.
