‘I think, well. It was just a rough time, really. My Mum never really gave us what we needed; she just wasn’t there, and when she was, well, she still wasn’t there. It’s really hard to think about… and I cry every time I think about it, which I think is probably too much, but when you’ve been through it like I have, it’s hard not to look back and think, what if my life had been different?’
