A 10-year-old boy is brought to the urgent care centre by his parents
A 10-year-old boy is brought to the urgent care centre by his parents. He has experienced moderate pain in his right scrotum for the past day but is otherwise well. On examination, the scrotum looks normal, but a small, hard mass can be palpated at the superior aspect of the testis. There is a positive blue dot sign, and the cremasteric reflex is intact. Given these findings, the GP working there suspects a torted Hydati of Morgani.
What is the most appropriate test to investigate this mass?
