A 14-year-old male is playing football at school when he suddenly develops severe pain in his left scrotum

A 14-year-old male is playing football at school when he suddenly develops severe pain in his left scrotum. As he is rushed to A&E he begins vomiting. On examination, the testicle is erythematous, swollen, high riding and the Prehn sign is negative.
