A 14-year-old male presents to primary care complaining of some spots on his face

A 14-year-old male presents to primary care complaining of some spots on his face. On examination of his face he has a mixture of open and closed comedones and 8 mildly erythematous papules. There is no spread of the lesions to his upper back. He would rather that he didn’t have spots, but does not appear psychologically distressed. He has a past medical history of hayfever.
