A 16-year-old boy collapsed whilst playing for his school football team. The spectators called for an ambulance and the manager initiated cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, however the boy passed away. One week following this incident, the boy’s mother attends the GP with her younger son. She is concerned the same thing may happen to him. She says the father of her two sons passed away in his 20s after having a cardiac arrest whilst cycling.
