A 17-year-old boy presents to his GP with a 2-week history of an itchy, scaly rash

A 17-year-old boy presents to his GP with a 2-week history of an itchy, scaly rash over his abdomen, back and arms.  On examination, there are diffuse widespread ‘teardrop’ papules on his back, abdomen and arms. The rash does not appear to obey any dermatomal distribution.  On reviewing his recent GP appointments, his GP notices he attended 3 weeks ago with a sore throat.
