A 31-year-old woman in her 18th week of pregnancy attends for her foetal anomaly scan. All scans up to this point have been normal, and the only issue she has had during her pregnancy was a mild rash on her chest five weeks before, which lasted about a week. She received all her childhood immunisations. This is her second pregnancy, and she had no issues during the previous one, giving birth vaginally to a girl two years ago. The ultrasound scan today shows abnormal middle cerebral artery dopplers and foetal hydrops.
