A 34-year-old female patient has come in with an itchy rash which has become more pronounced in colour and size. It started as a small area which has become more purple in colour and grown to engulf the dorsal aspect of her left forearm. Now she is worried because a small eruption has grown that is filled with fluid. Another one has since appeared which has a small tinge of blood. She is extremely worried that this could be skin cancer because there is a family history of melanoma. The blister is tense and difficult to pop. One has popped and healed to leave no scar.
