A 38-year-old male presents to the emergency department with nausea

A 38-year-old male presents to the emergency department with nausea, flank pain, haematuria and dysuria. He reports being fit and well prior to this. He is originally from Ethiopia, though is currently on holiday in the UK. Ultrasound of the kidneys, ureters, and bladder demonstrate bilateral hydronephroses and hydroureters and urine microscopy later suggests a Schistosoma species.
