A 45-year-old woman visits her GP regarding a rash on her ring finger. She cannot seem to recall when the rash started or if it has changed at all, she noticed it when washing the dishes and her left ring finger started to burn after coming into contact with warm soapy water. You notice she has a circumoral erythematous area on the left ring finger and also notice a similar rash on her neck. When asking her about her neck, she mentions recently wearing a new necklace given to her by a family friend. She took the necklace off as it caused itching in her neck.
