A 52-year-old male presented to his GP complaining of frequent drop attacks for the past 3 months. He described them as sudden attacks which do not impair his consciousness and do not result in any weakness or neurological signs. No prodromal symptoms except increasing aural fullness in the left ear. He also mentioned that his hearing on the right side has been gradually worsening for the past 3 months. Otoscopy of both ears revealed no abnormalities.
