A 58-year-old male intravenous drug user presents with multiple ulcerating lesions alongside a purple lace-like discolouration on both lower legs and feet that have developed over the last month. He also complains of fever, generalised myalgia, abdominal pain and weight loss over the same time span. Laboratory findings show neutrophilia, proteinuria and his hepatitis surface antigen test is positive.
