A 62-year-old lady presents to the GP with left knee and left wrist pain that started 10 days ago

A 62-year-old lady presents to the GP with left knee and left wrist pain that started 10 days ago. She explains that her affected joints feel stiff and there is a noticeable dull ache that has not varied in intensity since onset. She was discharged from the hospital a week ago after being admitted for severe non-bloody diarrhoea and right lower quadrant pain. She also complains of mouth ulcers that have not healed despite hydrating well. On examination, there is pain on active and passive movements with minimal tenderness and swelling of the affected joints and mildly reduced range of movements.
