A 63-year-old woman presents with an asymmetrical pigmented lesion on her face, under her right eye. The lesion is around 7mm in diameter at its widest, and is irregularly-shaped with varying levels of pigmentation. The patient reports she has had it for around 3 months, and it has been growing in size in that time. She has recently returned from Tenerife, where she owns a holiday home.
