A 70-year-old female presents to her GP with breathlessness
A 70-year-old female presents to her GP with breathlessness. She has always been rather breathless following her heart attack 3 years ago, but it has gotten much worse over the past 2 days. Her husband, who accompanied her, also notes that she has been rather confused over the same time. On examination, there are crackles audible in the left lower zone.
