A frail and elderly patient is admitted with chest sepsis

A frail and elderly patient is admitted with chest sepsis. She is treated with intravenous antibiotics and fluids, but despite maximal medical management, she fails to improve. She is deemed to be end of life and is started on anticipatory medications. She nods when asked if she has pain and requires several doses of opioids over the day. She vomits twice, and it causes her to become very distressed and fatigued. You are unable to determine a specific underlying cause of the nausea and vomiting other than it being related to her general condition.

What would be the most appropriate intervention to manage her nausea and vomiting?

Please select the SINGLE most appropriate drug to use. Select ONE option from the list above.
