A patient attends her first midwife appointment after a home pregnancy test suggested she might be pregnant

A patient attends her first midwife appointment after a home pregnancy test suggested she might be pregnant. She mentions to the midwife that she had recently stopped the pill due to headaches and has noticed a number of discrete areas of redness on her face and her breasts. On examination the midwife notices that she has several open comedones on her face and breasts. No other signs are noted on physical examination and the midwife recommends an over-the-counter body and face wash, and suggests the patient mention it to the doctor at her next routine appointment if that does not help.
