A 22-year-old female is brought in by ambulance after experiencing shortness of breath, palpitations and dizziness

A 22-year-old female is brought in by ambulance after experiencing shortness of breath, palpitations and dizziness. She says she also has some tingling in her lips during the episode. In the ambulance, her oxygen saturations were 99% on room air, and her ECG showed normal sinus rhythm. She did not have any oxygen in the ambulance either. She says the episode lasted about ten minutes and by the time the ambulance arrived it had resolved.

She says she has had episodes like this twice in the week, but they usually resolve after 2-3 minutes.
