A 22-year-old university student presented to the emergency department with severe blood loss

A 22-year-old university student presented to the emergency department with severe blood loss and generalised peritonism following a rugby match. FAST ultrasound scan and abdomen CT scan showed splenic rupture. As such, emergency splenectomy is carried out by the general surgeon. Further clinical evaluation 3 days post-operation revealed that he was suffering from 4 days of sore throat and fever prior to the rugby match. He is otherwise fit and well, with no significant travelling history, no previous sexual history and no significant family history. What is the most likely diagnosis based on the information given above?
