Jane, a recent graduate, has recently started full-time work at a law firm. She presents to her GP with frontal headaches, which are worsening in severity. She takes the oral contraceptive pill and claims to be feeling generally ‘run down’ since starting her new job. She describes herself as a social smoker, and often drinks coffee and alcohol. She is concerned that the headaches may be migraines, and that is beginning to interfere with her work, which would be detrimental to her.
