A 35-year-old woman presents for a follow up at her GP after recently being seen for a case of breast tenderness. Her right breast is inflamed, tender and painful. She is currently breastfeeding her second child who was born 6-weeks previous. These symptoms have now been present for the past 72-hours and effective milk removal has not changed the severity of the symptoms. She has a temperature of 38.1 degrees, a heart rate of 74 beats per minute and a blood pressure of 132/82 mmHg.

Please prescribe one medication that would be most suitable for treating this patient.
