A 6-month-old neonate presents to the GP following persistent vomiting after feeding.

A 6-month-old baby presents to the GP following persistent vomiting after feeding. The baby looks quite distressed and is starting to refuse to feed. The mother has previously tried a 2-week trial of Gaviscon® Infant but this did not help. The GP suspects the baby may be still suffering from GORD. His weight is 7.9kg.

Please prescribe one drug that can be trialled to help this baby’s GORD symptoms.
