An 87-year-old lady is under the care of the orthopaedic team for a hemi-arthroplasty, after falling and sustaining a neck of femur fracture.

An 87-year-old lady is under the care of the orthopaedic team for a hemi-arthroplasty, after falling and sustaining a neck of femur fracture. She has a past medical history of hypertension and angina and currently takes amlodipine, aspirin, atorvastatin, and GTN spray PRN.

 Prescribe an oral medication for her to be discharged with after her surgery to help reduce her risk of forming a thrombus.
