Neurology ST4 Application Process 2026

The Neurology ST4 application process is designed to ensure you meet the essential criteria required to progress to the next stage of recruitment. This involves demonstrating key competencies, qualifications, and experience in your application form.

To be eligible for the interview, you must hold an MRCP qualification or equivalent. While MRCP Part 1 must be successfully completed at the time of application, MRCP Part 2 must be passed by the offer date.

The Neurology ST4 person specification provides a detailed breakdown of all essential requirements, so it’s vital to review this document thoroughly before submitting your application.

Ensure your application is accurate and highlights your suitability for the specialty to maximise your chance of being invited to interview.

Neurology ST4 Self-Assessment

Boost your Neurology ST4 Self-Assessment Score by Training in Teaching

Completing a teaching qualification such as a PG Cert or PG Diploma can earn you up to 3 points on your Neurology ST4 application, but these courses often require significant time and may not be feasible before your interview.

A faster alternative is our Live Teach the Teacher Course, which provides at least six hours of interactive, real-time teaching and gives 1 point toward your application. You can choose between a 1-day and a 2-day live course format to fit your schedule.
