Brighton and Sussex medicine interview questions and format
Brighton and Sussex’s medicine interviews for 2027 entry are multiple mini interviews (MMIs), running from December 2026 to February 2027. UK applicants can choose to attend in person in early December or early January, or online via Zoom in late January or early February, and BSMS describes the MMI as five timed stations of around 10 minutes each. Your interview invitation and joining instructions will confirm the format and timings for your interview.
BSMS suggests reflecting on your own experiences against the core values and attributes needed to study medicine, and thinking about why those qualities matter for doctors. Your preparation could cover your motivation for medicine, a realistic understanding of what working in healthcare involves, and what you have learnt from work experience, volunteering or part-time work.
