Lancaster medicine interview questions and format
Lancaster’s medicine interviews for 2027 entry will take place online via Microsoft Teams, using a multiple mini interview (MMI) format, usually in January and February. Some stations involve a short interview, while at others you may read a paragraph or watch a video clip, make notes and discuss it at a later station. Your interview invitation will confirm the format and timings, and Lancaster sends detailed information one week before your interview.
Lancaster ranks applicants by their MMI scores, and some stations may assess your communication or group work skills. Your preparation could cover your reasons for choosing medicine, what you have learnt from your work experience, your suitability for a medical career and how you work with others.
