UCL medicine interview questions and format
UCL’s medicine interviews for 2027 entry are multiple mini-interviews, held in person for home applicants and online for overseas applicants. UCL describes up to eight stations of five minutes each, with a minute beforehand to read instructions, and the interview lasts around 50 minutes. Your interview invitation will confirm the format and timings for your interview.
UCL takes an NHS values-based approach, so the interview is a chance to explain why you want to study medicine, what you understand about the career and how you have prepared. Your preparation could cover your interest in healthcare, problem solving, teamwork, communication and professional attitudes and values.
